I am a professional gardener that just loves flowers and plants. I have been able to shoot pictures in some great gardens, and I also took some in vacant fields and parking lots. That is the beauty of close up photography. You just get down to the basics of the flower the background doesn't matter! I have been looking at flowers for a long time but until I began seriously photographing them a new world has opened up to me. I have been studying the lines and patterns and colors of the years of evolution that have brought the flowers to this point.
I have included some of my travel photos and some pictures on other subjects. This site has grown from sharing a few photos with friends and family to sharing it with people all over the world. It is still under construction in many aspects and I will be adding photos and ironing out the kinks over time.
Just a note if you are thinking about buying some prints. Most of the photos here work best as an 8” x 12” rather than an 8” x 10”. You will be able to crop the photos at purchase time and all watermarks will be removed. Also thanks for your purchase as the proceeds go to new equipment.
